Let your thoughts take flight on a guided wander through the wild beauty of Matthews/Winters Park. This 4.4-mile loop offers foothill views, fragrant pines, and the occasional surprise—like a hillside of wildflowers or a particularly opinionated jay.

But this retreat isn’t about the mileage. We may complete the full loop, or we may linger in stillness. The point isn’t to get somewhere — it’s to tune in, slow down, and open up to wonder along the way.

We’ll move at a relaxed pace with frequent pauses to breathe, listen, and explore. You’ll be invited to engage in simple creative practices: sculpt with twigs, sketch a pinecone’s spiral, search for shapes in clouds or tree branches, or write a list of colors hiding in the grass. No experience needed—just a sense of curiosity.

This is a phone-free adventure. There’s no WiFi in nature, but you’ll find a better connection.

You’ll return with a journal and pen that are yours to keep, a sturdy canvas board for creating on-the-go, and a spirit refreshed by time, space, and a little wild imagination.
