Wingspan Wander: Full Retreat Details

Wingspan Wander is a 3-hour creative mini-retreat through the foothills of Golden, Colorado—designed to wake up your senses, stretch your imagination, and rekindle a playful connection with the world (and yourself).
We’ll explore the pine-scented trails and blooming hillsides of Matthews/Winters Park, pausing along the way for nature-inspired creative prompts—like sketching textures, crafting with found objects, or journaling in the shade. No artistic experience needed—just a curious spirit.
You’ll choose your pace:
🌲 The Soaring Loop takes you on a longer, heart-pumping hike with sweeping views and steady elevation gain (approx. 4.4–5.2 miles).
🌿 The Featherlight Meander offers a shorter, slower wander with plenty of time to pause and create (approx. 2–3 miles).
Both paths are joyfully unplugged, fully guided, and full of creative possibility. These are natural trails with uneven surfaces, so this retreat is best for folks comfortable walking outdoors for a few hours.
You’ll leave with a clear head, a full heart, and a few creative keepsakes—plus a renewed sense of freedom and presence.
🗺️ Logistics & Meetup Info
Location: Matthews/Winters Park Trailhead – 1103 Hwy 93, Golden, CO
Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. We'll start on time.
Look for: Your host in a bright Find Your Inner Parakeet badge.
Parking: Free and available at the main lot. Weekend crowds may require a few extra minutes.
Weather: We'll go ahead in light weather. If storms roll in, we’ll reach out with alternate plans or a refund option.

Hat, sunscreen, and light layers for changing weather
Optional: a small daypack if you’d like to carry your own materials—otherwise, I’m happy to carry snacks and supplies for the group
